A new listing for a "sealed" Original Mario Bros. game has popped up on eBay.
Um that's like alot. I wonder if anyone will buy it. Its eBay so you never know, maybe someone will buy it.
I'm an NES collector and will let you know why it's so valuable. Not that it's sealed, although that's the main thing, but because it got a 90 VGA grade. That's pretty fracking hard to come by, and honestly isn't worth $17500. But, I think for $10,000 you'd have a buyer, they're just testing out the interest for it. It's worth a ton, and actually, for a blackbox 90 game, that's not a terrible price either. People sell games for $3000 all day sealed and graded, a few grand for a sealed game for $2500 is only an 85 grade for the average blackbox that's common. But if you find a Donkey Kong Jr. Math CAN black box sealed, it'll actually make Stadium Events sealed look like a joke, believe it or not. It's very saught after, as none exist, but it's rumoured to exist. But even the US version sealed will bring a good 15K, too. Probably more around 20K. It's all about grade/condition, though. That separates a $100,$2000, and $10000 game.
If you're cuckoo for cocoa puffs enough to spend $10 grand on a game because it's sealed, you're probably bonkers enough to pay $17 grand.
I bought a copy of this game in pretty good condition from PlayNTrade about a year ago. Cost me $5. LOL
:O At my local Goodwill, I found a copy of Super Mario Bros. It was opened though, so not worth much.
Future EA/Activition game price?
Even though its "sealed" everbody and their grandma had that game it sold a SHIT TON its not rare
You'd be very wrong, there may be a couple out there, but still $10K would be reasonable asking price. 17K is too much, but it's not that far off.
No I'm right their are four people I know of who still have that game some with the mario duck hunt combo
The dirty greedy [email protected]
i got it on an emulator on my phone, pc, laptop...
It's not as much fun, I'd rather play games on their original systems.
I got my cheap and it was the one that had Duck Hunt with it. The value would be higher if Nintendo some doing remakes I bet, but I don't know. I like Super Mario Bros. 3 more then the first one.
This is the original Mario Bros. not Super Mario Bros.
unless someone else has another one sealed, its worth more than that
I offered $.99 and it was turned down.
i love howwe are in a recession and this is worth 17,000. who ever has that type of money i wanna know what they to for a job
Either a owner of a billion dollar company or a rich collector with more then he needs. If some rich idiot wants to pay $10,000-20,000 for sealed copy of a old game, let them. Although since it can be likely downloaded to phones, what is the big deal. Although it shows some are well enough set, that pissing away 10-20k on a old video game, is no big deal at all. While others drive old pos car's that get terrible mileage, or have to neglect other luxuries so they can afford to pay bills/loans/debts and eat.
