DSOGaming writes: "You know what? Today feels really like an April’s fools day. I mean, take a look at Romero’s statements that we’ve posted a couple of hours ago. Sounded awesome, right? Well, here comes and Cliff Bleszinski to jump on the ‘less-linear games’ band-wagon. No, I’m not kidding. That Cliff, the same one that was responsible for slow paced and scripted games like GoW – and my God GoW 3 has lots of scripted events – has revealed that he wants to produce less linear games. Who would have thought."
How about less dudebro and generic super soldiers with stereotypical dialogue too? I like the games but I'd like them more if the characters weren't so blatantly uninspired.
Basically DR, you could say that about almost every ****ing game this gen. Is Uncharted 'mature'? God of War? GTA? Killzone? COd? Halo?
No. They are all uninspired and unoriginal. Quality is what it is though
Gears doesn't get enough credit for its replayability while extremely linear and scripted games get praised since most people only do one playthrough.
I am Alive had alleyways which led to nowhere. This was more annoying and i wish they werent there. Being linear can be good in some cases...
I thought he's going to give the PC a little bit more love.Since its part of their roots and all. Then....
"...wants to produce less linear/scripted games."
Ohhh....
Edit: Looks like i read it wrong lol. As I was xD.
cool shooter, but any story that was attached to it would have made me laugh just as much, the character design was the story, bunch of peanuts grew bodies and were fighting things, funny story
