This is perhaps the creepiest Battlefield 3 video you'll ever see

DSOGaming writes: "Let me borrow some of 'Morpheus' lines from the first Matrix movie. Have you ever had a dream that you were so sure it was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream. How would you know the difference between the dream world, and the real world? Well, that's exactly the idea behind birgirpall's latest experimental BF3 video. Even though BF3 is an action shooter and nothing more, you can come up with some really creepy stuff when you throw in ambient music, great montage skills and a lot of fantasy. Special thanks to our friend ‘Konstantinidis’ for sending us this video. Enjoy!"

@Pekolie yeah bastards lol

pixelsword2359d ago

Strange, but not "creepy". My goodness, people are so jittery these days...

inveni02359d ago (Edited 2359d ago )

That wasn't creepy at all. Creepy is when you wake up during the night to see your child standing over you with his eyes closed and a butcher's knife in his hand.

Whoever made this video...good job.

Ever see the early "MarbleHornet" videos? Kinda reminds me of MarbleHornet before it turned into a stupid not-scary mystery. It's odd, mystic, and creepy.

Red_eyes_Gremlin2360d ago

Awesome work man :D

Story behind the video:

A war reporter is sent to the Battlefield of a HUGE battle that raged for weeks when suddenly every one just disappeared. He is told to report what happend there, How 64 soldiers sudenly dissapeared. He dont beleave in ghosts so he lapgh at it and say offcourse! Easy money he say to himself.

His boss tell him that one day in the middle of the war
Tanks stopped rolling, Planes fell from the sky, helicopters fell back to the ground after lifting, The last thing they heard was a radio mess from a soldier on the ground saying:

"WHAT A F** is that? Do you see that shit?.. SHOOT IT SHOOT IT... OMG...... *radio cuts out*

When the war reporter hits the ground he don't think about it first doing his "Job" when he suddenly start to feel a bit dizzy. He tell him self its the "heat" from the caribean island and continue filming.

The battlefield is empty and cold just as his boss said.
He sees ammo packs and medic pacs scaterd around the battlefield but no human in sight.

Suddenly he see something in his corner of his eye.
A shadow, Was it a man? It looked like it but he is not sure. He shakes his head and continue filming...

More and more strange things is happening...

2 weeks later they find his camera on the airfield.
He is gone with no traces to be found.
The only lead they have is the "tape" he made and the sound of laughter and screams.

So the sniper was the reporter?

Red_eyes_Gremlin2359d ago

idk xD. He used an action cam? : )

And he worked as a reporter now, But he once were a Sniper (Bf2? :)). So he thought that just in case some one is there and start to shoot at him he would bring his old sniper rifle from back home that he brought with him from the old war (bf2).

When strange things started to happen, he put his cam on the helmet and straped a band around it making it an action cam and then used his sniper rifle because he could se further and better.

How he film thrue the scoope i have no idea about xD.

MysticStrummer2359d ago

The soldier screamed "OMG"? That's the weirdest part of the whole story.

TekoIie2359d ago

Little coincidental but it would be scary if you just found the tape :S would probobaly be willing to swim to the nearest island.
