Are these Dinosaurs still getting media coverage after their latest aveRAGE game?

Their next game cover will still have to say "From the creators of a popular game from 1993!"
uh, that's paraphrased, of course. lol

"...I like feeling that I have skill in the game” said Romero and continued.

How about feeling like acquiring some skill to design a good game?

“I do realise that a lot of the movement in new shooters is directly attributable to the console controller because you can’t play well and fast with them so they had to come up with some design to make it so the player can do something else if they can’t skillfully move quickly. They have to do something different.”

WOW...really? So is jumping just plain lazy design too? Hell strafing must be sacrilegious. How about pressing a button to open a door? Clearly all of these were design cuz the console controllers and the mouse/keyboard combo are not up to snuff for mind reading design.

Just saying

Pretending to still care about PC is how they help keep a fanbase. Too bad the PC version of Rage had clearly shown that they do not.

Well, Romero didn't work on RAGE as he's not in iD Software anymore :P
