Here is a montage of brand New Tomb Raider Underworld screenshots. Tomb Raider takes back the crown from Uncharted and Assassin's Creed in 2008.
from games like Uncharted and Assassin's Creed(which is overhyped in my opinion). If it wasn't for Tomb Raider none of these games would of been successful like they are now. 2008 is the year of Tomb Raider!!!!
uncharted is the king
uncharted set the bar
tomb raider better have a joker in her hand
It looks exactly like the last one. Dated. Eidos should have taken a peak at Uncharted before developing this title.
Tombraider just needs to look 'ok' its gameplay was always the amazing part. Exploring/treasures/puzzles.
I'm sold if it has more puzzles than Uncharted. Uncharted is such much more a Shootem up / Action movie than a Tombraider type game imo.
I have the same 'dated' look problem with the Unreal Engine. All of the games look the same. Bland.
Good point. Multiplat games can't look as good. Many games that use Unreal Engine tend to look dark and plastic. I think Bioware made good use of it in Mass Effect though. Despite the texture loading problems and slowdowns at some points the textures look sharp and many locations display colorful and bright backdrops.
Platform + puzzles rock! Action RPG + puzzles rock too. I wish they would release Alundra (PS1) as a downloadable game.
There's nothing I hate more than a video showing screenshots. Especially when it's on YouTube
Seriously. After playing Uncharted, I can't go back to Tomb Raider. And I have to admit that these graphics in Underworld are looking very horrible. Uncharted kills it in every way. Even Adam Sessler agrees.
This game is more of a puzzle game than uncharted. anyway where do you think they got their inspiration for Uncharted from? Movies like Indiana Jones and previous games like TOMB RAIDER. I'm getting this!!
I've been a long time Tomb Raider fan....since the first one and played all of them since!!! My favorite is Tomb Raider 3 (here is hoping that they make a new version of like Anniversary)
or something more then boring shooting and lame jumping
