Shadowrun Returns On Kickstarter, Mega Ran Too

Gamesta.com has some more Kickstarter success story. No one is surprised that the glorious return of epic RPG Shadowrun would succeed, but on the same day nerdcore rapper Mega Ran also funded his humble trifecta of music, comic books and free video games! It's been a good day. (Language Arts, MegaRan, PC, Shadowrun Returns)

Too many Kickstarter projects, they're going to run this idea right into the ground.

I agree. It will be only a matter of time before big name companies start taking advantage for it because "used games sales was too high to make a profit"....

I agree that this is blowing up beyond proportions. There have been several new crowd sourcing methods popping up left and right besides Kickstarter as well, seeing their successful business model. That, combined with a ton more titles trying to get funding on an extremely short period of time, might cause a burnout soon. Lets not forget that gamers also still need money for new games..or food.

But a thought that occurred to me is: I wonder what will happen when all these games start releasing during a similar period of time amidst new releases.
