The State of Play Address 2012

BagoGames: "Now before I feel the need to put flameshields up, let me make one thing clear. I, just like a small percent of people currently, have a job. There are some good points made in this article...just feels like something that will get buried under more of the crap heap from larger sites.

I'm really tired of the "Gamers are evil for buying used games" (not all of us get a bunch of games for free from publishers) or all this "Gamers need to quit whining; don't like it, don't buy it" when the situation is just the inverse, and people are whining because they WANT to buy it but don't want to support crappy business practices.

It's also sad that informed gamers aren't the majority of gamers and sadly too many casuals are supporting bull crap like the thing with Capcom and EA. While core gamers are screaming their lungs out, casuals are running the business into the ground.
