Stuart Black has said that shooters are more prioritised with features than the actual feel of the game.
"For me, it's always, for any game, the most important thing is how it feels, and that's particularly true of shooters," he said.
"And so many shooters... I'm a shooter fan right so from a personal view I buy them just to f**king play them.
"As soon as I pick up the pad and I start turning round and I shoot, it's always a bit like, 'Meh, it's okay but it's not f**king great, you know?' So those things aren't hardware-dependent, that's all your focus and development.
"I don't want to criticise anyone in particular but I find a lot of shooting games, they don't focus enough on the f**king shooting, they're too busy doing some other f**king fancy feature and the shooting gets left behind."
