Capcom just published a new trailer of Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, showcasing the tutorial of the game and focusing on the Kinect controls.
wow i can't believe im saying this but that actually looked cool! who would have thought "from software" would be making a xbox exclusive. They are very talented(demon souls) so im not surprised this is looking so good
It certainly is looking to be the best Kinect game so far. There's just one issue I have (and it will probably cost me another bubble) But I don't see why it would need Kinect? It's a nice addition to the game, but it could be done on controller too. Basically it just isn't enough to make me go pay the asking price for the peripheral. This is definitely a step in the right direction though
@limewax.. to be fair any game can be done with a controller pad via the menu wheels, etc... Kinect adds a different sense of immersion than the controller offers. It may not be for everyone though... but I applaud its effort. My pre-order is in on this one. The only Kinect game I have ever pre-ordered btw not counting ME3 or Ghost Recon FS.
@slavish....they also made Chromehounds for the 360 which was one of my favorite early titles on the 360.
this is exactly what I've been waiting for, a game that combines Kinect gestures with a standard controller for the important stuff.
1st generation Kinect games: Motion Controls 2nd generation Kinect games: Voice Controls 3rd generation Kinect games: Motion/Voice and hybrid controller controls I like where they are going with Kinect, but I don't think we are going to get there this generation. We're already seeing improvements with each generation of Kinect games and things like Kinect 1.5 for PC. However, I don't think until the next Xbox launches with a fully updated Kinect are we going to get the precision and depth you need if you really want motion controls to work. Also, this game looks pretty bad ass.
