IncGamers: Ubisoft has revealed that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier will be coming to PC on 15 June. It will be available in boxed and digital form.
Sooner than I thought, can anyone say whether this is actually retaining the gameplay G.R.A.W. is known for or has it been 'Called to Duty'? If it's been gimped I will probably just get the last 2 Advanced Warfare entries on PC instead
I don't believe anyone can say for sure because the beta is not out as yet and i guess the only way you may have an idea is to watch videos. It's good you don't need to constantly have a constant Internet connection. The game looks quite interesting though.
Yeah the always on DRM annoy the hell out of me, glad that's not in the way. It certainly does look good, Just so far I haven't seen any trailers showing you taking control of vehicles or being able to take full view from your squad to help highlight more targets. It's certainly looking good, I just really hope these two concepts make a return
Well GRAW technically "gimped" the Ghost Recon series. The games are a shadow of it's former glorious self. You probably get more people playing the original Ghost Recon than you do the GRAW games.
"A one-time activation will be required upon initial launch, after that point an internet connection is not required to play (except, of course, for online multiplayer)." Now we're getting somewhere!
Better than what we have now, but still don't like the idea.
"One Time Activation" Actually means, we're going to lie to you like we did with 'From Dust.'
Yeaaah. Direct x11
DX11 support should basically be standard for anything that isn't a small indie game or a quick port of a B grade console game.
Can't wait for Future Soldier to come out. Ghost Recon 2 was my favorite back during the original Xbox days.
