Kinect Star Wars [Review] - Lacking Force (IncGamers)

IncGamers: I've got to admit it, Star Wars: The Old Republic is a great deal more ambitious than I thought it would be in its attempts to encapsulate the majority of elements we think of as quintessentially Star Wars. There's lightsaber combat, podracing, Yoda flipping around like a rubber ball, Darth Vader's husky voice, manipulating objects with the Force and ...err... dancing for your life in front of Jabba the Hutt. (Kinect Star Wars, Xbox 360) 5/10

GASP! What a surprise. This title was destined for AAA fame.

More Kinect shovelware.

From the day they faked the presentation at E3 and showed how on-rails it would be, I knew this game would be crap.

I never expected much but I was hoping maybe it would be fun to play. I will wait for more reviews I never even heard of this reveiw site. It does sound spot on to what I was thinking from what I've seen though.

lol look at all the hate....but if this game had been made for the move it would have been a gift from the heavens. Love the hypocrisy in gaming

It still would have been a collection of boring minigames, but at least it might have been responsive.

you may think their boring but the target audience is children and people who like to have fun once in while instead of being ultra-serious like "hardcore games" act. I'll pick it up and have a grand time getting wasted with friends while dancing like an idiot, hell don't even need the liqour to do that.

seriously though games are made with a target audience in mind and people turn around to bash it thinking that it should be all serious and "hardcore". It really is sad to see self claimed gamers acting this way.

So now the target audience is children? When I saw all of the "Finally! An awesome Star Wars game!!!" I thought the target audience was Star Wars fans. My mistake. Children, who probably have no clue what a Star Wars is, were the target all along. Good call, Summons75!
