Power Cords Head Editor and Contributor Brendan Hesse writes about how he has been disappointed by Assassin Creed in the past but with the more and more info being released about the third game he starting to believe he won't be disappointed by the next installment in the series.
Im tired of all that, its like ridin the same women for 6 years, its starts off new/fun, but over time, you know exactly what your doin, the "excitement" wears off, you want summin new
I disagree, I have no particularly high hopes for the game yet, But I fail to see how it could be the same, There will not be any built up cities to be jumping from building to building on.
This clearly meant a large change in the play style as they had to create a new engine for it. It will definitely be different, if it is as much fun remains to be seen
False. If you read the previews, you will know that this game will have a completely redone combat system, tree climbing, hunting (Wildlife) and a new engine. To me that sounds like it's going to play a lot different than the past.
What bothers me about the "new" game is the fact that all of the beneficial changes made to AC3 should be in AC Brotherhood and Revelations. They intentionally gimped two games during the 3 year dev time for AC3. Ubi knew they were shoveling the same s*** every year and basically whoring out one of their top franchises.
At least it took two generations to burn out Prince of Persia...
As long as the story is good and they add new things to keep it fresh, it should be a solid game.
Let's just hope there's no ME3 type ending with this one.
