Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 Review | Tech-Gaming

It's the rare inferior showing for Tiger, set back by wonky Kinect controls and vexing DLC integration. (PS3, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, Xbox 360) B-/A+

Is anyone still hyped on Kinect besides Microsoft?

It helped me out in Mass Effect. Of course, I could have done the same thing with a headset and that would have saved me $150...

Good Review :)

Is clear that EA emphasis is on making extra money from DLC instead of making a great game.

Sound like this year lands one in deep sand.

Its clear that Tiger isn't given the same amount of attention that Madden and Fifa get.

Is it me or these tiger wood/golf games always look he same.
I know its only trees and grass and croud, but in 2012, we should see no difference between a real golf, and a game. When you see worlds like infamous 2 or batman arkham city, is it that difficult to have a photorealistic golf game, with real life textures of grass, etc?

I see version numbers changing, 9,10,11,12, etc, but it always look like a game, I know, its a game, but rendering grass and some trees can't be that hard, compared to rendering an entire city, like infamous 2, with clouds, effects, ennemies, hundreds of cars and people, lighting, etc etc.

And those microsoft points... Oh dear, THOSE Microsoft points... Use real money, instead of your points, you thieves.
You steal people buy selling them rrod ready consoles, you keep stealing them with your live gold people need to buy, in order to play online, and once again, you steal people with your stupid points. Why didn't you do 100 points = 1$, to make things easier? People count with real money, your points cost real money, the stuff you sell on live or micro transactions do cost real money. Why the Hell, you didn't use real money? Are you ok with the fact that kids and young people grow up, and don't give a shit about learning Things in life cost real money, not points.

Are you ok kids and young people completely using all their points, because, well, its a game for them, they aren't using money, paying 500 or 2000 points for something, they don't care about it, they just spend them, and that's all.

I repeat, Microsoft, you steal people.really.

i have 2011 and you should see the crowd. after all those years they still had the crowd all clapping at exactly the same time, it looked ridiculous. you would think by now the game would be so lifelike and receive 10/10 reviews across the board... the same as FIFA, NBA.

EA have ruined it for me once again
portugamer  +   1218d ago
That's exactly what I think.
The croud is the same, i feel like they are using the same textures for grass, crowd, etc, since the older versions.

God, its not hard: no entire cities to render, no thousands textures used, like uncharted 2 or 3.
Only. G.r.a.s.s

The worst, the grass really looks synthetic.its a shame.
The perfect example of the game, only because its tiger, we get a new version every year. I've played a bit golf IRL, and its really cool. But these tiger wood games, aaarggghh, graphics are really... Crap.the right word is crap.

this games exists purely to make money from (before) day one DLC for EA. i was going to buy it until i saw all the DLC hit the market before release.
