What is the Biggest Let down of 2012 so far?

We are entering the fourth month of the so-called year of the apocalypse and it would seem that way with some of the gaming’s biggest let downs in recent history. In order to be a let down hopes have to become high for the game or DLC. With gamers shelling out dollars for pre-order goodies and exclusive DLC. Just to be slapped in the face by the reality of poor development. So what is the biggest let down of 2012 so far? (Mass Effect 3, Ninja Gaiden 3, PC, PS3, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Tag Invalid, Xbox 360)

Well I am really enjoying Zelda: Skyward Sword right now and i feel like nintendo totally reinvented Zelda with this title. If you look at the last 3 games they all copied Orcanira of Time with some little innovation here and there but Skyward Sword feels new and fresh!

but then again it was a 2011 title >.<

Not entirely, I mean for me since I actually enjoyed Syndicate a fair bit.

Mass effect 3. I went back and played through mass effect twice, but with 3 i m not even tempted to play it all again since my actions wouldnt really affect what ending I get :/

Pretty good list. And funny yet true reason for each, I had to chuckle a few times.
It has been pretty bad so far this year, but there are many heavy hitting still coming, so all is not lost.

Mass Effect 3, Kingdoms of amalur, Darkness II and Journey have made it good so far IMO. better than the first third of 2011.

i would say the industries continuance on not releasing AAA titles in the spring time, i know they want us to save our money but dont make us wait till summer to start draining our bank accounts.

Calling this too soon, metal gear rising or reveveverangenacy or whatever isn't out yet for us to be disappointed.

I totally agree with ME 3 though, looks like "...minority of the fans..." turned out to be the majority of the fans.

2012 has had its ups and downs. pleased with how SSX turned out compared to past SSX titles (excluding tricky) but the ending of mass effect 3 let down a lot of people. lets just hope as the year progresses we are just as impressed as the greatness 2011 brought to gamers.

Gear3 biggest let down for me

its like this every year from jan till the end of aug always dry every year the same pattern example this sep to dec releases are: borderlands 2, Bioshock infanite, RES evil 6, The Wii U, Far cry 3, Black ops 2, Halo 4, and I probably missed a few. but point is they need to space these releases out they cant expect us to buy evrything at once in such little time.
