New Theatrhythm Final Fantasy DLC includes Versus XIII music

Even though the game hasn't been released, players will be able to download Final Fantasy Versus XIII music as part of upcoming Theatrhythm Final Fantasy DLC. (3DS, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy)

Whys 3ds tagged? shouldnt ps3 be tagged
Snookies12  +   411d ago
well, it's not really about Versus XIII per se, it's geared towards the 3DS game Tetra... Theatra... Whatever the name of the game is lol. XD
Theatrhythm, there we go. Though, they should probably include a PS3 tag as well

I find it funny as hell they released DLC for a game..about another game that seems to be far from release.

If they wanna give any kind of Versus DLC to hype the game, you could at least did a Noctis Coliseum fight for XIII-2.

I don't think it's as big a deal as people might make it out to be. Somnus has been heard, known, and finished for a VERY long time.

Except that nobody hardly knows a thing about the actual game. And there are a whopping TWO songs out for it now TWO.

It makes no sense to put material of a completely underexposed game with no release date into a finished game that's been out since February.

Especially since many people (including myself) are anxious for news about THE ACTUAL GAME.

If you mean Vs13 then you clearly are not looking hard enough because there is a lot of information about the game out.

You're putting too much significance on your connotation of the word "material." You want them? Go listen to them. They've been available to the public for almost four years now. You can even read translations on the final fantasy wikia for the lyrics in Latin.

Not enough that's commonly known.

Though something like this music is meant to address series fans.

I should feel so insulted by this, that Square would be so blindly stupid as to include material from a game they've yet to release, but I honestly can't bring myself to care.

I do wonder, when Versus is announced for the 360, will the 360 crowd attempt to hold if not throw it into PS3 fanboy's faces while also being unaware that Square doesn't mean what it once did.

Translation, the game will be Gamesex if it is exclusive to ps3, but the same game will be meh and not worth much if it is multiplat. . .right?
Godmars290  +   411d ago
It'll be just like XIII was. Nevermind the real issue that Square's shown no real ability, no competence whatsoever, on either the 360 or PS3.

I couldn't care less if it went mutli, thing is if it does and its crap, 360 fanboys will still gloat about it more than if its PS3-only, and still crap.

Kinda pointless releasing music to a game I haven't even played yet. Sorry but the hype of music to VS13 is not wining me over I would rather play the game if it ever comes out.

i usually listen to or learn music that makes me feel nostalgic, but this is cool too, i guess.

just wish versus would release within the year

There shouldn't be any music in this game that isn't Uematsu. You can tell as soon as it switches to Versus that it lost it's God-like flare.

What about FFT/FFXII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto? He's awesome!
HarvesterOSarow  +   411d ago
You're right! He is awesome, and although those are great video games and have the Final Fantasy name, they're still not a numbered copy. If we allow Sakimoto in then we have to allow Takeharu Ishimoto :) I liked a lot of stuff that he's done as well. But my point was really that Uematsu is like Einstein and the majority of other composers are drifting in his wake. Drifting well perhaps, but still drifting haha. That's just my opinion when it comes to a Final Fantasy game BASED on the series music.
