My top 5 are:

Daytona USA - Arcade
Burnout 3 or Revenge - PS2
Carmageddon - Technically a "racing game" ;) - PC
Super Mario Kart - SNES
Racing Aces - Sega Cd

First, GT5 (I prefer it over the previous versions)

Second it's

Crash Team Racing lol. I love that game, even though I know it's not exactly a racing game.

Third

NFS Underground 2. My favorite arcade racer by far.

My favorite (for the PS3) are GT5,Burnout Paradise, and Midnight Club:LA.

For ps2 it would be the Burnout games (all of them) and NFS:Most Wanted....man, I sure did love Most Wanted :)
