This looks like a mash up between Avatar, Halo, and Jurrasic Park. I just hope they do dinosaurs justice. What I mean by that is dinosaurs should behave as naturally as possible in their environments. For example, not all dinosaurs are hell bent on attacking you at every chance they get. I believe dinosaurs are like today's animals; if left unprovoked or kept away from at a certain distance, they will not automatically attack you. Don't let them be mindless creaturs programed to attack you while ignoring everything around them, including their mortal dinosaur enemies. If you're being attacked by a pack of raptors and a T-rex approaches, the raptors should naturally scatter.
I so wished there was a game with that kind of dinos. Unfortunately - and since this is mainly an MP game - I don't think we'll see this kind of dino behavior in ORION: Dino Beatdown. But imagine that, a Jurassic Park game powered by CryEngine 3 and with proper AI. Man, that would be awesome. However, it's a game for a niche market so I doubt we'll see something like that anytime soon :(
You're right. I just read more on this game, and it looks like what the title suggest, just a simple and maybe fun dino beatdown.
Been waiting a long time for this, hope it plays as good as it looks.
