see what you did? i've given you a good example so that you can work it out
Hopefully 3DS and Vita do well...
Sales are not everything when it comes to a gaming device. As long as the device sells enough to earn solid support from developers then the rest is moot.

Besides, where do you get that logic from? Apple products (namely the iPad) sell incredibly well yet a new revision is released almost every year. So you're saying it only happens with Sony?
Why are you talking about apple? I'm talking about game consoles. Sony does more hardware revisions than anyone so people have become accustomed to waiting for a better version down the line... I never implied nor said that sony was the only one... Stop reading into my comment so much.. I love my vita and wish everyone else would buy one so that we can see alot more games but the truth is everyone will wait it out..
To give an honest evaluation of the "popularity" of PSVita vs the 3DS, you need to divide the sales #s by the revenue it takes to acquire the units.
3DS units tend to range from $150-$170 for the base unit, whereas Vita tend to range from $250-300. Dividing by those numbers puts them pretty much in the same ballpark, which is expected.
