Better gameplay than Bioshock 1, but story isn't anywhere near as good. It lacks the mystery that the first one had and the sense of amazement seeing Rapture for the first time. But if you loved Bioshock 1 then you'll love this one too.

The way the levels are designed gets VERY repetitive and it becomes too predictable. It feels like a chore getting to a new area and knowing that you'll have to kill X big daddies then fight a big sister and spend your upgrade points, but it has its moments.

For Bioshock Infinite they need to design areas that break the formula or pattern. Surprise me. Throw stuff at me that I wasn't expecting gameplaywise. Keep me guessing and make me forget that I'm playing a game. I want to be on my toes and completely immersed in the world. When it becomes too formulaic, I know exactly what i'm going to be going through in the next few hours and I start thinking about playing other games (Dark Souls).

Also looking forward to an exclusionary upgrade system more similar to the original Deus Ex which is my only other complaint with BS1&2 because it adds more weight to your decisions and encourages multiple playthroughs with varying strategies.

Overall I'd still definitely recommend it. Pretty good game.
