Is Kickstarter The Future of Gaming Industry?

Techtorial: With the huge success of Double Fine's adventure project, Kickstarter seems to be the way to go on funding new titles. Question is, will this mark the era where big time companies (e.g: Activision, Rockstar Games, etc.) will rely their triple-As over the hands of pledgers? Let's get our eyes keen on and look for the possibilities. (Double Fine Adventure, Industry, Kickstarter)
