Simply don't watch the videos! 'Spoon feeding fans', get a grip, ignore all the PR campaign vids and developer diaries, simply buy the game when it comes out. I saw the debut trailer ONLY, i was sold after that. Your to blame for spoiling it. If indeed it's been spoilt.

I agree with the author. I don't watch the videos released, but I can't avoid the pictures that head the title of the articles. I'd rather discover those bosses and creatures that have been revealed lately and it's hard because of the reason I stated.

i "blackout" games i'm hyped for, the only things i know about this game is that it is set in a sky city, their is a girl in a blue dress and something about parallel reality.

i don't know any deeper details.

Entropic4402d ago

I'm not sure how the author is to blame for spoiling anything here; the entire purpose of the article is contrary to that point.

However, I do agree that if you don't want to know about a game, you can do your best to ignore the trailers, press releases, and commercials (something that's also mentioned in the article)... Though ignoring these things is sometimes easier said than done.

No-one is forcing anybody to watch these teaser videos

wallis4402d ago

I've watched them - they show off a lot but don't tell you much either. I thought they were actually very teasing in that they tell you these heavy hitters, show you some screenshots, talk about what could obviously be inferred from the screenshots, then tell you they can't you tell this and that because it's awesome.

Dear spoiler generation....
please kindly STFU. I remember a time when no one really cared about spoilers and still found a way to enjoy things regardless. Like everyone else said, no one if holding you at gun point and forcing you to watch trailers, visit web forums, etc, etc....

Didn't the creator write it? It also made a fortune based on the budget so from a business standpoint it is a massive success.

"And lastly, famous Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling helped to create the action-RPG’s setting. What’s really fascinating, though, is that the game was partially financed by taxpayers from Rhode Island (which allegedly lost the state millions of dollars). Yikes!"

1. Now infamous Schilling
2. No allegedly, it did. And they couldn't pay it back.
3. What really lost the money wasn't the SP release but the MMO they were working on. This was supposed to be an introduction into the MMO world.

I hate counting limited editions for these lists. I mean, they're made to be rare and expensive. It's far more interesting to hear about the NCAAs (even if most people know that one already) and the El Chavos than some massive hit that came with a $200 statue at retail.

gamerz264d ago

Me too. Here's the best I can do:

El Chavo Kart $90.14
NCAA Football 14 $87.72
Spiderman: Edge of Time $75.94
Spiderman Web of Shadows $75.09
Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions $67.76

Christopher264d ago

Wow, El Chavo Kart is not at all what I expected by the name. 100% looks like a Sackboy Kart game.

Soy264d ago

It's so odd that so many Spider-Man games are seemingly given lower print runs, even if they're not the best games.

Most Xbox games don’t hold as much value compared to other systems. Kameo, Blue Dragon, Last Remnant , and a handful or 2 of other games that I kept.

Fallout 3 and Bioshock Infinite are the rarest games of all time.
