At what resolutions and in what games is Vram really the issue that we need 4gb? Shogun 2? GTA IV? Thats all I can really think that would benefit from it.

well this tech is mostly thinking about the future, not past games... with new consoles coming out in around 1 year, we will start seeing major improvements in PC games as well since developers dont have to limit what can be done to keep things balanced

its pretty impressive, but the knowledge of pc gaming is beyond my comprehension and the sad part is i want to get into pc gaming in some way

only way to do that is to buy something assembled already from futureship or some other store that will have to do

are just some of the main reasons that you would need more Vram.

Most games operate just fine with 1GB of vram but occasionally you get the few that benefit from more vram although they run just fine with 1gb like GTAIV.

PC Games have more post processing, detail, and higher textures now a days than ever before so the extra vram is a welcomed plus to push things along.
