Ninja Gaiden 4: What we want to see

CVG- "Ninja Gaiden 3 has finally been let loose on the world, but not everyone's happy it's here. As you'll see in our Ninja Gaiden 3 review round-up, opinion of the game has been mixed, with scores ranging from 8/10 to 3/10.

In our Ninja Gaiden 3 review we believed Ninja Gaiden 3 aspired "to be all things to all people, to offer accessibility beyond its hardcore roots", but concluded that the outcome was a bit hit or miss.

We've identified our issues with the latest entry in the acclaimed hack 'n' slash series and mused over our wishes for the next iteration. Here's what we want to see." (Ninja Gaiden 4, PS3, Xbox 360)

what we want to see is more of the original Ninja Gaiden, with a sprinkling in of Ninja Gaiden 2. or, to put it more bluntly, what the series was like before Hayashi got hold of it.

Couldn't agree more. Ninja Gaiden & NG2 (also Sigma) were great. Granted the camera and some minor gripes can be had but in general both were what Fans & Action gamers want. You are never going to appeal to the masses so just do what you do best. Make a bloody good action game for your fans. Corporate idiots.

The game has not even been out a week, and you already thinking of Part IV. Let's hope Team Ninja takes a break from this franchise, and put all their attention to making DOA 5 a top notch fighter

I think this series needs to stay put in this gen.

gaiden 4 needs to have more rpg elements than all the other gaidens combined ( which gaiden 3 praticly ignored it ), add difficulty settings for all kinds of players ( giving players options is always the best way for a game sucess imo ) and an engrosing story that puts the player through many cool locations like gaiden 1 did.

I not a fan of the gaiden series but i know what it essencially needs to be.

If you are referring to Binary Domain that was made by the Yakuza guys and published by Sega.

first, they need to fire Hayashi i hate that guy.

second, start the game with a new more fleshed out main character and story, to be honest Ryu had almost no real personality of any sort he was generic and uninteresting "as a character i mean" of course with revamped combat and overall gameplay "Capcom and Platinum Games are always there to help :)"

cheers

Tecmo is very superficial when it comes to characters just look at Dead or Alive xD

I fell in love with Ninja Gaiden on the NES and was overjoyed with the Xbox version as well as NG2 on 360. As as fan of the series I'm going to try NG3 but I do not have high expectations based on what I've seen. Maybe I will be pleasently surprised.

As for part 4, well I guess I better play part 3 first. Early "wish" list though would be bring back Itagaki, all the weapons and.......the roll. The dash completely sucks

We may not see a NG4 for awhile. NG3 is selling so poorly that in 4 days after launch it was not in the 100 top selling games for xbox 360 on amazon. That is terrible.
