Why I Love… The End of Mass Effect 3 (SPOILERS)

newbreview.com's Richard Burley presents his view on the controversial ending of Mass Effect 3, invites you to read it and then discuss your thoughts! Brave man. ;-) (Mass Effect 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

If you actually like the ending it's because you're a moron who can't fathom how completely stupid and nonsensical it is. It makes you "think" because is doesn't make a goddamn bit of sense, not because it's even remotely good.

I offer the counter argument that you don't like it because you have little imagination and are unable to piece the evidence together. Most of these "plot holes" are easily explained with a little thought.

Hooby, I appreciate your concerns, you are clearly a gamer of consumate intellect and deeply pensive focus. However I must refute your allegation that I am a moron, a statement which I rambunctiously rebut. The title of the article is "Why I Love..." not "Why everyone else is wrong", I understand I am in a substantial minority but I hope / encourage all to engage me in substantative debate for both our own, and indeed hopefully wider, edification.

My good man, you are not in a minority. It's tese loudmouth muppets that throw their toys out of the pram that are the minority. I've been to a few press events over the past two weeks and I've yet to come across a person that hated the ending... The only person that I personally know that hated the ending "because it didn't make sense" is a 18 year old buffoon that can't tell his arse from his elbow.

mightlyles, thanks for clarifying / summarising you position, I'm glad I'm not completely alone! (Even if your response is purely an academic exercise!)
