Upcoming Kinect Games We Hope Will Make Us Dust Off the Kinect!

Since we bought our Kinect some time ago, it has unfortunately fallen prey to the various dust bunnies surrounding the TV set. In an effort to seek out something in the future that might make our paperweight a fun device again, we have sought out various games that are coming between now and December (so long as the Mayan calendar isn’t valid). (EA, Kinect, Kinect Star Wars, Ryse, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, Xbox 360)

If I were 4 years old I would be hyped for upcoming Kinect games like a new Sesame street or Kinectimals

Unfortunatly I'm 22 years old and I want to play real hardcore games.

1) Get a hot woman.
2) Get Dance Central 1 or 2.
3) Watch hot woman playing Dance Central 1 or 2.
4) You're welcome.

=/ Your steps do not compute. If you have a hot woman, you'd better have her doing something a lot more "entertaining" than playing a fucking kinect game.

They all look like they could be good games but I want Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor the most out of that list.

I don't know why Kinect gets so much hate on here. I use mine a lot more than I did the Wii or Move. I use it on Forza 4 the most but every weekend and when the kids come round we play Kinect sports 1 & 2, Dance Central 2, Just Dance 3, Carnival Games: In Action.

I also use it with Halo CEA too.

Looking forward to seeing what the core games are like with Kinect as what I have see with Forza 4 and Halo CEA it could be the device that adds more to the games.

That Pixar Rush game looks crazy good.....

I am always amazed when people talking about dusting off kinect. I have been playing my kinect for quite some time now. I dont know what they are waiting for, there are plenty of good kinect games to play.

No amount of flailing would ever make me want to buy a Kinect.

after Using Kinect to navigate through Mass Effects Menu ....i will never look at menues in the same way....yeah sure its just voice recognition but it was just wayyy better....dust off the Kinect??? It was always there being used with the systems menu and if they keep implementing it in a smart way like they did with mass effect....then it will never die......does not have to be the centre piece ....but a great accessory or tool is good enough for me......Great Job MS!

They can do hardcore just that there not really trying to take risks especially with all of this negative feedback from these presumed hardcore players. Honestly if the inde market was open to kinect games we would probably see a surplus amount of hardcore kinect games. Indie developers have more freedown with what they want to do while huge companies may be working on like 3 other titles and have some kinect title and just shove that off and do just enough work to get something up. Most of the hardcore street fighter, skyrim, FPS kinect adaptions are being made by random people around the world.

Well I dust off my Kinect almost daily, same with my PS3 and Xbox 360s and black Wii. Those piano black consoles really collect dust, but not for lack of use. I actually get fair use out of all of them.

That being said, I've had Kinect Star Wars pre-ordered for a while now. Recently pre-ordered steel Battalion as well.

Even though I'm older, my son loves the new Kinect Rush game, I'd advise anyone that likes animation like that to try it out. Totally off of rails and works perfectly.

I saw that Pixar Rush game and was really blown away and I know what Kinect can do and have high expectations for it.

That game reminded me of platformers like Crash Bandicoot and Banjo Kazooie. Seeing it done so smoothly in 3d motion control I was very impressed. And I really liked the way it scanned you into the game and made created a pixar style character of you.... thats some real futuristic stuff there.
