Silent Hill HD Collection Review [Gaming Survival]

There’s something to be said about the fact that the best parts of these games is what remained unchanged: the story and atmosphere in both games is top-notch, and they’re better examples of the survival-horror genre than a lot of what has been released recently. The graphical upgrades mean the games are relevant again, but players will still be left facing the same problems the games had when they originally released. Overall though, these are excellent examples of the genre. Fans of the original games will definitely need to pick these up, and those who missed them the first time around should definitely give them a try. - Steven Bates

Wish it was playable for me. Bad audio sync, no audio sometimes, and stuttering frames. And the CGI cutscene parts look WORSE than the original. They're all foggy and look like low grade video.

Wish I hadn't ordered it, I went back on my new belief which was to never by day one anymore.

Dude. There was a patch already. Get on it, troll.

Edit:

I don't know. I'm on a lot of the forums and haven't heard anything about that.

A lot of people are commenting that the patch didn't fix anything. Can't take this review seriously if it doesn't highlight the severe glitches and bugs.

A shitty port of a good game = a bad game.
