I just ordered a eVGA 8800GT with 650 clock and 512mb RAM from newegg. It was the only one I could find that was in stock. They have 256mb ones and cheaper brands, but I wanted a pretty good quality. The 600mhz clock speed is like $20 cheaper but wasn't in stock :(

Confucius say, "He who reads Tom's Hardware and believes ... IS A FOOL!"

There are much better sites for reviews and tech stuff. Dr. Pabst's site lost it's significance a LONG time ago ...

yet its still regarded as the best tech site, and still visited more then most tech sites hmmm wierd...
Toms hardware is amazingly accurate because they actually use tests instead of opinion to prove a thing.

Just ordered a Dell with an unknown card manufacturer, but I think it's the same as elementX, with a 512MB RAM. PC also has 3GB's 800mhz RAM for PC, Vista Premium, and a QUAD core. Too bad I have to wait till the 10th for it to get here.

Why oh why didn't you just go to newegg or some such site and saved yourself a good deal of money?

Well Mr Tom is indeed right. The 8800GT is the best bang for the buck. That said I ended up buying the GTS since it came with Crysis which I was going to buy anyways. So including Crysis the GTS cost only 8$ more than the GT.
