Official PlayStation Magazine UK interviews one of Dust 514's developers who talks buying and selling in-game guns for real money.
This is good. It'll help out some of my poor friends in the USA who spend most of their day playing video games. The economy is pretty bad over there from what I've heard. Maybe they'll pocket some gas money from this at least.
Anyone want to join my new pirate-merc multinational conglomerate? It will be called the ARRRRRRR Corporation. Join today for rich stock option opportunities! :P
Yes it is very Interesting, and could create a really cool aftermarket.. .____........___...____ .____||......||.......____|| ||.........___||.......____||
this is a bad thing
bucz u will be charge more than 60$, i don't want to spend more than that on one game.+ it's unfair to some player.
I don't think you're looking at this properly. No one is forcing you to buy anything, people just have the right to sell things if they choose.
I believe thus have was announced to be free to play and download...it is supposed to have a micro transaction system of some sort
am i to understand that players sell their virtual guns for real cash? that seems abit unfair.
No one is forcing you to buy the stuff they make. CCP has repeatedly said you won't be able to "buy a win" either so if you wanna buy stuff that looks cool or don't want to make it yourself you can spend a couple bucks.
People have sell/buy stuff in game for real money before. Just that the developers now added an option for them to do that instead through other means.
I'll tell you why you people like this idea. . .it is on PS3. Thats it. Search your hearts and you'll know I'm telling the truth.
u mad bro? It's also on PC.
no its not - Dust is only on PS3
What a weird comment. You take these "console wars" waaaay to seriously. Relax and enjoy the gaming industry.
I will be selling guns, I know how I roll and it will certainly involve me getting my 1 or 2 good guns and then profiting with everything else.
They confirmed 2 types of ''loot'', for crafting weps and other stuff.
