Hollywood strike may cripple TV but boost gaming

The Hollywood writers' strike has been going on for more than seven weeks now. With thorny legal and monetary issues such as the use of content online, royalties from DVD releases, and of course the issue of how much reality television is actually "written," there is little hope for the strike to be over anytime soon. The last strike, back in 1988, lasted 21 weeks, and it ended with fewer viewers tuning back in to watch the new content that both sides so dearly paid. This time around, it could give gaming even more of a boost.

So, I'm not 'quite' feeling the impact from it, though I have to wish them good luck with the strike..
