The one feature i'd love is some kind of World Tour Mode that FIFA Street has. Starting with rubbish players, being able to create your team, your kit and so on. Though i admit, that sounds like i've just described Master League from PES :) lol Also, can't virtual pro's have some server side authentication before being able to play online? The amount of hacked pro's on XBL is ridiculous.
1: less menus and screens to click through. It takes ages between starting up the game and finally playing a match. It's ridiculous. Why do I have to verify that I want 'english' EVERYTIME I START THE GAME!?!? 2: I've been repeating this request for years now, but the replays suck. They're too short, you can only upload about 5 of them to the crappy EA website, you save them as videofiles instead of actual replays where you can watch them from all angles, even when you save them to your own HDD, and in-game the replays suck as well. Pro Evo does this aspect better, and has done it better for years! (apart from Pro Evo 6, which curiously had no 'save replays' function....(!) ) 3: It needs to get a proper player editor. Tiger Woods 2005 had a great gameface-editor, yet FIFA still sucks when it comes to creating a player, and you can't even edit the existing players, while many of them look horrible compared to their real-life counterparts. It's unacceptable. 4: Instead of just showing the stadiums, EA might want to consider also showing a bit more of the surroundings before a match, so the area/city in which the stadium is situated. Also, it all needs to be a whole lot more lifely, with people around the pitch moving around, lights in the crowd, toiletpaper rolls being thrown on the pitch, the field getting damages from slidings, etc etc etc. There has been very little improvements in those areas for the last 3-4 years. 5: Finally, I feel you should get an in-game editor for you to have your own start-screen. Now you look at a shooting Rooney every time, but why not include a photomode, different backgrounds, all the player models, etc etc etc, and just being able to make your own 'shots' of the player you like (also edited players so they're as lifelike as possible), and you could use those as your start-screen, and upload them to the crappy EA FIFA site. That would mean that if a friend comes over he sees a completely different FIFA environment on my screen, than he does on his. You could even go as far as giving players the freedom to also change in-game fonts and such.
The nail just got smashed on the head! Agree with everything. Why can't we just load through to main screen straight away? Select English once. DONE. Accept its an autosave game once. DONE. I think it's 3 menus to get through to online play?! Ridiculous. I'd like to add though that the custom soundtrack feature be given an overhaul as it's pretty awful the way it is. And, being able to play your music during a match should be possible. There's so many things that need to be fixed for Fifa it really irritates me. Then again, if they fixed everything within the next year of release they wouldn't be able to do anything the next year! Guess we gotta grin & bear & be happy with what changes they bring to us each year.
master league on pes was sick, iv always wished for fifa to get a master league ever since i switched from pes to fifa in 2008. + Yh my bro has hacked his VP and many many people have on xbox but on ps3 you cant hack your vp and thats makes matches much better because it is more fair.
I used to play on PS3 but had constant issues with the comms. All i play is Pro Clubs and if you cant talk to your team mates then its useless. Switched over to xbox for 11 & 12 because party chat got rid of the comms issue but now we have to deal with 127 rated pro's :( Guess you cant have everything lol
I'd like to see a sports game... any sports game, really, that manages to actually replicate the feel of PLAYING the sport. I suppose tennis/snowboarding games can come close to this, but for the most part I avoid the genre because it feels less like playing the respective game, more like watching it on TV. I feel like the football/soccer/baseball/baske tball/whatever genres are too hung up on ancient snes-era mechanics that were conjured up because the hardware was incapable of producing that feeling, making 'em more "sports simulation" titles than actual sports games. Even the big motion-control heavy titles seem to suffer from this. So, yeah, I don't have 4000 ideas... I just have one: give me a game that actually makes me feel like I'm out in the field. It's hard as hell to gather a bunch of people together into teams, coordinating schedules and all that, to play a game of anything once you grow up. tl;dr being an adult sucks and I'm bitching about it.
I'd like to see the offside rule not so perfect I mean in the fifa games it is never ever wrong you never ever get away with being a millimeter offside never mind half a yard not like real life games eh
I have had it happen once where my guy was slightly offside and it wasn't called. I checked the replay multiple times to be sure. Also have had the other way of having my guy perfectly in line with the last defender and got called offsides.
But how would you feel losing the final of a big payout FUT tournament to a last minute goal and the replay shown the guy was 2-3 yards offside? That would be pretty shitty.
just like I would if it happened in real life to the team I support... crap aha. but that's football :D
i'd like to see them remove the game-breaking glitch... shoot while you're in that 25~35 meters distance... you always score. pretty lame actually.
BETTER A.I !!!!!!
