Is it just me?
Or does he sound a bit hung over this week?

I think he is conflicted
One the one hand, the game play apparently has sweet parts that are fun and enjoyable. On the other hand, even fun enjoyable game play cannot overcome the fact that it is hard to do much with Mario that has not already been done. And the camera angles (sometimes a problem with Mario 64 as well as any other 3-D game platformer I have played) aren't perfect.

Still, I think this would be one of those most have games if I owned a Wii, except for the fact that I don't like the whole numchuck-wave-your-hand-around concept. And even then it would be a must have - Nintendo's first party games are normally pretty cool.

Yeah...
...he sounded less funny and more mad in this one. I think his reviews have been going down-hill. Probably because he has to write a new one every week and strive to be funny.

I think his humor style works best when he's making fun of stupid aspects in the game's design choices (like summoning the hell imps in The Darkness - just to move a parked car). Not when he just lobs generic complaints like "I'm a weenie and don't like shaking the controller."

Then he just sounds like a jack-ass.

That was a funny review. Crap talk aside though, it seems the game won him over.

Good review. I agree that the Lives system needs to go. Playing New Super Mario brothers on the DS and going back to level 1-5 or whatever a millions times to get lives taught me that.

Found that review hilarious especially when he said "its not much fun to anyone except obsessive compulsive squirt gun fetishists."

Christ wept of course its funny, but unlike most american sitcoms the humor is always different ;).

Yahtzee tells it how it is. He (IMHO) is the best game reviewer ever.

Smart, Quick, and to the Point.

Funny as always, but it was really reaching for things to complain about. Use of the wiimote in galaxy is hardly strenuous on the wrists. The camera work is exceptional too.

Yea it seems he liked the game to much to be his usual self.
