Opening Pandora’s Box (a Kotaku Counterpoint)

Pandora's Tower hasn't gotten the written accolades of its Operation Rainfall stablemates, Xenoblade and The Last Story. But its redeeming qualities may make all the difference to those of us who prefer action/adventures over JRPGs. (JRPG, Pandora's Tower, The Last Story, Wii, Xenoblade, Xenoblade Chronicles)

"Over here in America-ville, JRPGs have simply fallen into a neighborhood of niche in recent years"

I big time disagree. And unlike the others with are more of the real time turn based variety

this is a pure action rpg. A great one.

When pokemon sells Under a million in the west then we can call it niche. Hell plenty of games from plenty of other genres dont sell well. That has no bearing on anything
