I Am Alive Review [PixelScribes]

Pixel Scribes: "For those who don’t know too much about the history of I Am Alive, it’s a survival game developed by Ubisoft Shanghai that’s had a somewhat troubled development. First revealed at E3 2008, it was originally being developed by Darkworks. However when it was announced that they had left the project the future of the game was uncertain until it was picked up by Ubisoft Shanghai. Release dates were announced only to later be dropped, and at times the game seemed to completely drop off the map only to return months later. In 2011 a comeback trailer was released and it looked like I Am Alive may finally see the light of day, until finally it was released as part of the Xbox Live Arcade House Party promotion on March 7th. The original concept intrigued me, and back when it was first announced I was really interested to see how it would play out, especially when it was changed to an arcade release." (I Am Alive, PS3, Xbox 360) 7/10
