A look at how gender and sexualization in gaming isn't handled very well in games which supposedly should appeal to the wider demographic.
Strange this site wont load for me. I was curious why MSxboxworld was attacking non-miscrosoft games again.
Hey where'd they get that pic of me!?
Great argument. I definitely understand her point; but the truth is that as of right now for gaming companies the young male demographic is the one that counts. Sex sells. I think there should be a balance; but I sincerely don't mind having atracrive looking females in my games; as funny and ridiculous as it they are some tittles.
I think the argument was less that that is a thing that should go away altogether and more that there should be a balance in who you're trying to appeal to and it should be done in a way that fits the rest of the game. Basically, if you're going to have half-naked women in your game, throw in some half-naked men. (The kind that would appeal to women and gay men, specifically, rather than more Kratos)
