That's cool. This is like the one thing more than any other that ORC has going for it, it's a nostalgic trip down RE memory lane, just mordernised and actionised (new word?).
I can't help but shake the feeling it's going to be rather pants, but the allure of 4-player co-op and other modes may just be enough to make it of interest as RE6 still feels so far, far away.
Any one else feel like ORC will finally reveal the whole story behind the shadowy figures that threw you the rocket launchers at the end of RE2, you know the whole "here use this" scene. I mean it obvious who they were, but what where they doing there, and what was going on that lead them to being there in the first place.
I'm more puzzled by the story arc of ORC... Why would Umbrella Corp send the UBCS (from RE3) to rescue remaining civilian survivors, yet send the U.S.S Delta team (from ORC) to kill them in an effort to remove any involvement in the outbreak?
For the same reason Lord Sidious sent the trade federation to naboo to attack and sent Queen Amadalia to Corisant to Work out an agreement to stop said attack he initiated in the 1st place. BAD WRITTING LOL/jk, but not really though.
"Why would Umbrella Corp send the UBCS (from RE3) to rescue remaining civilian survivors, yet send the U.S.S Delta team (from ORC) to kill them in an effort to remove any involvement in the outbreak?" To answer your question. Actually play Re3 and pay attention to Nicholai's side of the story, and operation Watchdog. Also this is non canon so its for entertainment only.
exactly its not like other RE, the reason why its more like SOCOM is because the people who made socom confrontation made this game. as for buying it, it depends on personal taste this game is basically resident evil outbreak on steroids
Capcom should win developer team of this gen. They remind me of squaresoft back in the day. just pure quality from them, and they always listen to their fanbase.

Stupid Capcom LISTEN TO FANS.
(sigh)
Silent Hill does a better job @ staying to it's roots than RE.
RE will never be the scary horror game that it was years ago.
