Long and Overdue, Resident Evil Review [Gaming-Unleashed.com]

Resident Evil as we know is a bloated mess. We have literally 21 games to the series after the newly released Resident Evil: Revelations for the 3DS, which understandably has intimidated new buyers to the series from how stretched out the entire timeline is, and bored many existing fans to playing some of the same games over and over again.

This is definitely one of those games, the 9th resident evil game to ever be released is a true remake of the original game on the PS1 back in 1996.

The game starts in 1998 with a squad called STARS (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) getting an SOS signal from their combat partner group "Bravo" team that has crash landed in an unknown area and "Alpha" team (you and your team) is sent to investigate. Searching the area ferocious dogs appear out of the woodwork and kill one of your team members with your pilot screaming for his life from the ravenous dogs chasing him, and everyone is forced to follow him and flee to a nearby what seems to be an abandoned mansion. (GameCube, Resident Evil) 8.5/10
