SSX Discounted To $39.99 On Origin’s Online Store

Canadian retailers had cut the price of SSX already, but everyone in North America will now be able to pick the game up for the low price of $39.99.

Whoa.
Is this a sale price or is it not doing as well as EA expected? I haven't picked up the game myself, I rented it from Gamefly, but $39.99 might have me finding myself downloading it off of Origin.

It will be my first purchase from them. I created an account when it started but haven't purchased anything from them yet. Still a Steam guy but do most of my gaming on the consoles. SSX on the PC probably looks incredible. Another plus as to why I might take advantage of this new price.

Not much of a DD guy though. I prefer to own physical media unless I purchase it cheap. Still don't know if this is cheap enough to make the jump but I'm going to consider it.

It's not on PC. This deal is for the physical Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

EA can charge that price/still make profit because its coming direct from them and not a store.its the physical PS3/360 version.

See how much I use Origin? I honestly didn't even know you could buy games from them directly. I thought it was just an online DD only service. I have it set to turn on manual only and not on boot up like I do Steam. I have only browsed through their service one time for a couple minutes and haven't been on it since.

I only downloaded and installed Origin because I thought I was going to purchase BF3 from them since they wouldn't allow Steam access to it. Instead I ended up purchasing the physical media version of BF3 from Best Buy.

Game isn't that good. It should of been a kinect game then I'd be saying it rocks.
