Killzone 4 coming to PS4?

A new job advertisement has been spotted that suggest that Killzone 4 will be on the next generation of consoles. (Dev, Guerrilla Games, Next-Gen)

Hard to tell
Is this rumor true? Rumor votes 10

Wow, that's quite a jump, even for a rumour post. The job ad doesn't mention Guerrilla, nor does it mention Killzone at all. It just says that a Dutch studio is looking to recruit for "major IPs" on "next-generation technologies", which is kinda just corporate speak for "a core console game".

This is off topic, but why was Killzone 3 advertised as free to play when it was only a trial that ended after level 10?

Paying is optional? You can't play if you don't pay. F2P means you never have to pay to play. but you probably have limits on what you can do. YOu can always play though. KZ3 trial(F"P apparently) does not let you play anymore once you reach level 10. You must pay to continue playing.

Because paying is optional.

you get a free to play trial to a certain level cap then you decide whether you wanna buy it or not. but don't know why people wanna play killzone 3 MP? play KZ2 instead it's better.

World of Warcraft (level 20 cap) and many other games have done the same. It's nothing new.

As long as they bring the next game back to the basics that was the ground work of the second one I will be in. Three just sucked no doubt about it.

Killzone has always been massively overrated. Average shooter at best.

i can say the same thing for halo. i honestly don't know what the big deal is. but i do agree about killzone though i like resistance way better.
Forbidden_Darkness  +   1018d ago
I love resistance alot more as well (R3's atmosphere is amazing), but I enjoyed Killzone2/3 as well.

@momthemeatloaf: It's all based on opinion, so why are you saying it as if it is fact?

I like Halo but the each his own. I also thought Resistance was better than Killzone. hope the new Killzone turns out great.

Hopefully it will be a launch title. Its good to finally hear rumours about Sony's next behemoth. Nintendo and MS are going to come on full force and Sony wouldn't want to fall behind again.

I've always had a huge amount of respect for Guriella Games as they are always trying to push boundaries and display things that have never been seen before.

In my personal opinion, KZ3 is the most immersive FPS game I have played to date. Even when I'm not playing in 3D, it still feels like I'm on a battlefield because of all the beautiful destruction and chaos going on.

Thank goodness people are using their technological expertise in making great games.
