Golden4games: Silent Hill: Downpour Review

The survival horror experience begins after a prison transport vehicle careens off the road, leaving lone inmate Murphy Pendleton stranded in Silent Hill. Gamers will encounter mind-bending puzzles, as well as horrific creatures and other world terrors using everyday objects from wooden chairs to glass bottles to fend off their enemies. (PS3, Silent Hill: Downpour, Xbox 360) 9/10

Not familiar with this site at all...
but fingers crossed their review is reliable and representative of the game's overall quality. I really want Downpour to be excellent; there's just not enough survival-horror around anymore.

So I have read over the reviews that have been released so far and I'm glad to see most are enjoying it...but I am still skeptical. Silent HIll 2 and Shattered Memories are the best Silent HIll's with 3 closely behind, the rest not so much. I want this game to be good and a return to the roots like promised but outside of these reviews I have not heard any praise for this. Probably will buy it anyway. Dose anyone know if the story is ocult bull**** or an actual mind messing game like SH2?
