Mass Effect 3 Leaves Me Angry – A Review (GamingShogun)

GamingShogun.com writes, "Mass Effect 3 is 40 hours of incredible story, ending with 10 minutes that invalidates the entire experience and will anger you. Alot.

I will save the seriously-spoiling details for after a warning below, so sit-tight. After firing up the game on my three-monitor PC gaming rig, I discovered that Mass Effect 3 does not support my widescreen resolution of 5760x1080. The menu and UI elements were all stretched in a strange way and it was not playable because of this. I turned my resolution back to 1920x1080 and finally got to begin my gaming experience. I don't recall having this problem in Mass Effect 2, but I digress."

Wholeheartedly agree with these sentiments. BioWare completely dropped the ball on the climax of this game.

They dropped a number of things, but the only thing worse them being praised for it is the industry example they've also set.

Whats sad is the entire lead up to the game is amazing & is perfect in almost every way. Except the endings

It really is a bait and switch. Get us all invested in a great game then turn around and end it like that.

After playing and beating the game i can say that ME3 is a great game but its not better than ME1 and i felt that ME2 was a more polished game compared to ME3. ME3's gameplay feels very clunky, graphics are Ok not the best in the world, choices don't really seem to matter, and the ending is pretty bad. The only thing that i found surprisingly fun about the game was the online mode other than that the game to me did not live up to the hype at all. I'm glad i didn't cave in and buy the From Ashes DLC saved myself $10 for Journey ^_^

I really hope the guys at bioware are seeing all this outrage and anger and are crapping themselves, i hope they are trying to come up with a way to salvage this situation as evidenced in this poll ( http://social.bioware.com/p... ) a lot of people did not like the ending and certain parts of the game in general.

Its funny how you said that, cause the same thing was done with Fallout 3. They add more to the ending, the same thing would be done with Mass Effect 3, but this should of been done already. Why make us play your game and the choices we make from Mass Effect 1,2, and finally 3 doesn't really matter. We got an Deus EX Human Revolution style ending? If they was going for that they should of copied the idea from Deus EX: 2 Invisible war(unrated game and love it) where you had four endings, if you manager to have four save files. At least in that game your choices at the end actually has consequences, and they are not the same ending.

They did say some would be upset about the ending...
