New hardware is the attention grabber, and I think that gives Nintendo a pretty big advantage. I do not think Sony will have any PS4 talk, but more keep the pressure on with their exclusive games, and I expect more Remote Play announcements, and even something that acts as a Wii U clone, much like the PS Move ripped and bettered the Wii controls.

That Vita hand-held is essentially the equivalent of the Wii U tablet, and if you've got a PS3... hey presto!?

It's Microsoft that are going to have a much tougher time at E3. I feel like they may actually be forced to show off their new box with some tech demos. It can go three ways for MS at E3 (1) They actually showcase new exclusive for their core audience (2) They ram Kinect down our throats for another E3 (3) New console, whether next home console or hand-held.

Why would Microsoft be "forced" to show off new hardware? Aren't they coming off their best year ever for the Xbox 360? Which saw them number 1 world wide?

Also, Kinect is selling great, around 20 million units sold thus far, could be over 30 million by the end of the year.

I wouldn't expect Microsoft to announce any new hardware this year.

I'd expect a price drop, which will push sales even higher for both the Xbox 360 and Kinect. Since the Wii U is coming out, I'd expect the 250 gig Xbox 360 to go down to $249 and the arcade to probably drop down to $149-$179. Kinect will likely see a price drop to $99, which will set off another Holiday frenzy.

I know people here like to dog on Microsoft for showing Kinect at E3, but believe it or not, that is what a company does when they set out a new piece of hardware, they support it and show consumers that they intend to keep supporting it. Microsoft did things the right way with Kinect, I know people here are more used to a company coming out with something and then not having and marketing or any showings at E3 or anywhere else, which is why those things don't sell.

1.Price drop on Xbox 360's and Kinect
2.Halo 4
3.Forza Horizon
4.The new IP that Microsoft has said is coming
5.The reboot that is supposed to be coming
6.The killer sequel that was teased (Killer Instinct)?
7.Obviously going to show Kinect games, Fable Journey, Steel Battalion, Crimson Dragon ect...

It'll be another solid E3 for Microsoft, just not according to the folks here at News For Sony Gamers.

Nintendo will do good as well, Wii U, 3DS, games and features for the Wii U.

Sony has no choice but to push Vita and more Vita and probably will try to cram 3-D down our throats.
They will also show off some games per usual. God Of War 4, Starhawk ect...

Very well said. You deserve more bubbles, good sir.

I highly doubt Microsoft will reveal the next Xbox at E3 when they are coming off of their strongest year yet. With a huge 2012 lineup of Halo 4, Fable: The Journey, Forza Horizon, Minecraft, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, The Witcher II, Trials Evolution, Kinect Star Wars, Fez, Dust: An Elysian Tale, Deadlight, Fable Heroes, and so on, as well as tons of huge multiplatform titles and unannounced exclusives, they are going to have a packed show as it is. And they should certainly announce a price drop. The 360 was the best-selling console worldwide in 2011 and it hasn't even had a formal price drop since 2008! The PS3 just had one last fall!

@ Noticeablyfat i thoroughly enjoyed reading that comment, i love how some fanboys ignore the numbers and think the console they prefer is automatically number one. it's almost like a presidential election.

Sony = New Games
Microsoft = New Console
Nintendo = New Console + New Games

Response: Obviously YES.

NukaCola2352d ago

I think:

Sony will show the future of PSN(SEN) and new games

MS will show Kinect titles, and more on TV apps and Windows 8 related news and next to nothing on exclusive outside Halo 4 and a new Forza.

Nintendo will show games and actual Launching Wii U titles.

Shok2352d ago

This is so simple and blatantly true. Don't see how anyone could disagree with this lol.

CoolBeansRus2351d ago

Nuka, ur not biased at all. Keep up the good work man. BTW I am joking. Just in case u actually thought i was complementing you.

I sure hope you guys don't think they dominated last year because all they did was confuse the hell out of people with the Wii U. If they don't get their act together the same thing will happen again this year.

--Onilink--2352d ago

im sorry but the only people they could have confused are people who never check anything related to gaming on the internet, certainly not someone who comes and comment on N4G who obviously knew it was a new console.... so while true that they fumbled the reveal, its hardly a relevant point to make in a comment section of a site like this

spektical2352d ago (Edited 2352d ago )

the people that are confused outnumber those that are gaming educated. Hell I was confused. I was thinking well if everything can be streamed to the tablet wats the point of even having a static device. However, then the tablet control would be in the same market as the DS line. etc etc.

I think Nintendo will confuse a lot of people on what they are buying.

So.... MUCH...... TROLL!

mike1up2351d ago (Edited 2351d ago )

The same thing will happen again this year?

You honestly believe that after E3 2012 people will still think that the WiiU is a handheld?

...try harder.
