Sony has admitted that the PlayStation Move motion control system for its PlayStation 3 requires lots of great games if it’s to become popular and hopes that future titles will be able to make the peripheral a key accessory for the home console.
upgrade the cam for ps3 and also add skyrim to move on other hand ps move is way better than kinect.
"on other hand ps move is way better than kinect." In certain respects no, in other respects yes. With dance and fitness games, it has been PROVEN that Move is inferior to Kinect for the simple fact that Kinect can track multiple limbs on a persons body...not just two points like with Move. With everything else, Move is the better option. It depends on what genre you primarily play. As far as the article is concerned, Move will NEVER take off like Sony wants it to without more ORIGINAL AAA Move games. I certainly don't regret my purchase, but with so many amazing looking non-Move games coming out this year (Max Payne 3, ME3, Starhawk, AC3 etc.) your sure as hell aren't going to get non-believers to purchase Move with a 6 hour game like Sorcery. Random disagrees on N4G won't change this, SPEAKING UP on Sony's forums like an ACTUAL fan of Sony's first party studios will.
" it has been PROVEN that Move is inferior to Kinect for the simple fact that Kinect can track multiple limbs on a persons body...not just two points like with Move." The tech is there but Kinect is still too laggy to represent it properly. Maybe nextgen
@BitbyDeath ***The tech is there but Kinect is still too laggy to represent it properly.*** It actually depends on how you design the game. If you need rapid motion, this impressive technology can't keep up yet....
Skyrim? PS3 can't run Skyrim with its limited RAM already and now you want it to run it with Move as well? Lol
Well I hear the patch improved skyrim on ps3 by a ton so clearly many of the problems are involved with the coding.
PSMove needs real software not just patches that add support for games many enjoy with the reg controller
I prefer kinect.
For the fun factor kinect is better than anything out there but echochrome 2 with move is something a little special. Still the physical controller will always prevail over both
I prefer Kinect as well, as I use it all the time and now that it is being added as an "add-on" to current controller based games, I will likely use it even more. What a cycle!
They are still missing a trick by not porting across the HD wave of arcade gunshooters - although HOTD 4 could be the start of that process.
