Whilst there were plenty of cool things to take home and share from the event, there were also a number of happenings which perhaps left a sour taste in the mouth.
Now that we know xbox next will likely release next year. Something to go on would have been nice. But MS still believes theres lots of life left in xbox.
"Now that we know xbox next will likely release next year" That rumour has been said for the past 3 or so years. It's the E3 hype train. I am not saying it isn't impossible but it's just the E3 hype getting started
Trade magazine MCV seem to be pretty sure about no disc Xbox and a release next year. Am I being naive about the credibility of MCV or are they playing the big April Fools gag three weeks too early? On topic, Microsoft could have used the event to hint about Xbox 720 but what I can gather from reading other articles is the event was to highlight the long legs of Xbox 360 this year. E3/Gamescom is more likely imo.
@RaidensRising: MCV do have credibility which has helped them but even these publications get things wrong. The one thing that makes me think that rumour has very little to no credibility is the no disc Xbox. It doesn't make logical sense even as a basic range.
Oh my God, no playable Halo 4! This is the end of the world! No its not, suck it up and wait for E3 like everyone else you whiner!
