You never got around to buying a GameCube? Did your old one break? You want to play GameCube games but don't have a Wii to do it? Never fear because Amazon is here.
i agree with the Halo 3 award definitely was the most overrated and hyped game..mountain dew lol which was pretty cool
EDIT: @ ape007 the original story was about halo 3 being overrated and bioshock being the best game, sorry i changed the story because it was duplicate
I don't see people listening to Wagner and Mozart on the streets. I see them listening to 50 cents, Snoop Dog, Eminem and even Britney Spears.
People don't like European Cinema and Independent director movies. They rather watch X-men 3 and Angelina Jolie killing exploding monsters.
People don't like Creme Brulee and Fetuccini Alfredo. They like McDonalds.
People don't like ICO or Okami. They like BS Halo 3 and Madden. It's like that. Money can do wonders for review scores, as everyone seems to agree Halo 3 is OVERRATED CRAP.
Who wants to play all these old games? I rather pay $250 for a Wii. The Wii is already considred old gen technology. Why do you want even older gen. I already had gamecube last gen and gave it up. I didn't even sell it. I gave it away for free.
Me! I've purchased 25 GameCube games to date simply because I never owned a GameCube & my Wii can play them. Hell, we're a year into the new console cycle & I just picked up Ghosthunter for the PS2 last weekend. Just because a game is a few years old doesn't mean it's no longer worth playing.
Yep, you saw it right. I got one a couple weeks ago from Gamestop for a very-worth-it $30. I guess they're on sale until the end of the year, and from what I heard, they're gonna start phasing them and Xbox1 games out by next summer. It's kinda sad too, when I bought my GC, I ended up paying more for half of my games than I did for the damn system, but I got some nice rare ones out of it. Eternal Darkness, Skies of Arcadia Legends (only because the DC one is impossible to find), and a few others. It was a great deal.
I bought a cube around 18 months ago for pretty cheap. It was well worth it. there's a great library of games available that the majority of us never played because we opted for PS2's or Xbox's. The Metroid games come to mind or the Rogue Squadron sequels. The Cube was a powerful little box too so the graphics hold up well. It would have sucked owning one as your only console last gen because there weren't a lot of good games coming out at all times, but with a 7 year back catalogue to look through, the Cube just became a great deal for real gamers who may have missed out before.
R.I.P Gamecube. As far as Halo 3 as a few mentioned. It was overrated. (The single player wasn't that great, good but not great, multiplayer is where it's at for Halo 3. I'll stick to COD 4, UT3
Why buy a gamecube now there is good games on the wii and if u want a game cube game bad thw wii can play it tooo wii is only $250 and game cube is idc what it is buy a wii its the future people
I had alot more fun with my gamecube back in the day than I've had with my wii...RE Zero, RE1 remake, RE4, Zelda, Eternal Darkness (that was a phucked up game), Mario golf, Mario Kart, and so on. Yeah, the cube was fun.
It was $100 when i bought it back in 2003. Note worthy games (personal choice): Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Mario Sunshine Mario Kart Double Dash Tales of Symphonia The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker Mario Party Games Metroid games
And have the same line-up as you and a few more games. You know what's pathetic though? The fact that the Wii is selling like hotcakes ON THE SAME LINE UP, and more expensive than it was 6 years ago. People are morons, indeed.
I payed 200$ for mine. The only reason I got it was for Windwaker and master quest. Other then that, the only games I have on it are Super Mario Sunshine, and Soul Caliber 2.
res evil 4 and paper mario from gamestop in bogo sale. There are even more gc titles i want to add to my collection. people dog the cube (as well as other systems) yet it has some really good 1st party games and a few 3rd party gems.
If you own only one system it is mostly because it is expensive to get another as well. Yet when prices on the hardware drop to an acceptable level, there should be no reason to not pick one up. Dreamcast was purchased more by consumers AFTER the ps2 came out because those consumers wanted the ps2 first. In that case, the dc price had fallen and with it being dropped all together made it more enticing for them to get one.
I got my 360 first and now have a wii but also have every other console released since the 2600. I do not have the ps3 (yet) but when the price is right (299 or lower) i will get one and get the great games for it as well.
Bottom line is, there are great games on ALL platforms and if you are a fan of games (the best kind of "fanboy" to be) then you will overcome the one sided nature of having only one console and embrace gaming as a whole.

Halo3,same as halo1&2 but with worse LEVEL DESIGN and AI.
yet halo3 has sold more, and is played by more folks so i guess people like to play crap then right? *shakes head*
Deal. Got mine for 45 bucks. Brand fuk1n new. You will still need to get a memory card though.
well if people already got a wii they can already play GC games. all u need to do is buy a GC controller for 10 bucks and a memory card for 10 bucks.
