Kara vs. The Casting - comparison of Quantic Dream's tech demos

The stunning tech demo called Kara was shown by Quantic Dream at GDC 2012. VGZ compared the Kara tech demo to The Casting from 2006. What to expect from Quantic Dream in terms of Storyline and Setting? (Game Developers Conference, Heavy Rain , Kara, PS3, Quantic Dream)

Everyone seems to be making more noise at GDC about this, than Unreal Engine 4 - which is next gen.

I'm seriously looking forward to Quantic Dreams next title.

What is the avatar about?

Looks like Cable (I think), holding a knife to a Deadpool doll. Why?

The casting was okay but that girls teeth were too big and the mouth motions weren't all that great. I remember when I first saw it, it was so epic. Kara has great facial animations but she's creepy. Maybe I'm just paranoid about androids taking over the world.
