AusGamers: Twisted Metal review

While the initial training section leaves a lot to be desired, with early maps throwing you in the deep end, once you get the hang of the controls it’s one hell of a wild ride with multiplayer sure to keep you coming back for more time and time again. Good read, ko-zee. I played TM over my friend's house and I didn't want to leave. It's old school as heck, wish more games were like that.

Totally agree Dante112. I'm starting to move away from games that reward you with weapons and XP upgrades the longer you play. The old school feel of Twisted Metal is spot on allowing true skill and map knowledge to be the deciding factor of matches. Hope some FPS developers have the balls to follow suit.

Love it. Will be even better when the patch fixes the network issues. I am mostly a PC gamer but this game has me playing the PS3 again!
