The video was done with v1.0 of the engine. Current version of the engine is v3.0 with multiple characters! Wow 90 markers for the face alone? I can't imagine the whole beehive stings.
I've you've seen "The Casting" that they did for Heavy Rain, Heavy Rain improved upon that by a good amount. If they even kept the same quality of Kara, the game from it would be amazing.
And how did you draw that conclusion? Both the original "Taxidermist" scene and The Casting from Heavy Rain were tech demos and the full title exceeded them both. A bit premature for doom and gloom. OT: I'm am happy that Sony continues to back such a talented studio. Being 1st party would fit in the Sony family quite well!
