OXM: I Am Alive Review

I Am Alive's post-apocalyptic portrayal is unique, and at heart that's a simple question of timing. This isn't Fallout's irradiated land of opportunity, with its shell-shocked yet prosperous civilizations, but the immediate aftermath of a cataclysm. It's too early to talk about picking up the pieces, let alone putting them together. Ubisoft Shanghai's fictional Haverton is a city of barriers: rubble-heaps flagged by Silent Hill-esque map squiggles, signs threatening death, terrified stares as you approach a campfire. (I Am Alive, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 7/10

I'm confused. IGN give it a 4.5 Bad, yet Eurogamer give it an 8....someone's seriously wrong.

2 different reviewers, 2 different experiences with the game, 2 different scores. What's hard about that? No one person is right or wrong.

Never said it was hard. But it's a big gap on scores from two large internet review sites. One says it looks great the other says its terrible. Can't wait to trial it to see which of the reviewers needs glasses.

Look at it this way even timed exclusives usually get over inflated scores from OXM and this got 7/10 which normally wouldn't be a bad score but add in the exclusive factor and its really about 5 or 6 out of 10.

The positive reviews are outweighing the negative ones.
