I Am Alive Review [ThriftyNerd]

Doug Scott of ThriftyNerd.com says, "I Am Alive may have drawn inspiration from a great deal of sources, but as a game it is an experience like no other. The fear of killing another human being, and the satisfaction of giving a dying survivor their last cigarette before they shuffle off their mortal coil are powerful events that are often never even considered in games. Holding a man at gunpoint and kicking him into a fire isn’t something I though I’d never do in a game. What was unexpected was the impact he had on me as he pleaded for his life. I Am Alive isn’t an action game. It isn’t survival horror. It is merely a survival game." (I Am Alive, PS3, Xbox 360) 5/5

Been watching this, sounds promising. Definitely getting it since it will probably be the only game of its type this year.

damn! this game sounds like the perfect survival game according to the review. fear in peoples voice, strategic combat, and stamina. strange that they made it a downloadable game.

If anyone else know what I mean. I don't think this reads like a 5/5 star review.

The Sixth Axis gave a 4/10, I think I trust them more anyways, so I second what your saying.

I also think the embargo doesn't lift until 5pm GMT. Naughty.
