Following a strong, but somewhat expected line up of games at its Spring Showcase event, Microsoft reiterated that they are moving forwards with a strong line-up of titles.
(Fable: Heroes, Forza Horizon, Halo 4, Xbox 360)
Microsoft is NOT bowling over anyone with Halo 4 and a co produced game with Forza in the "working title". For all we know the other dev might do the majority of the work with Turn 10 over seeing the project
Has anyone seen Dirt Showdown? It's not Dirt. It's a spin off game with over the top arcade action, but at least it's being made by the creators of Dirt. We know nothing about "Forza" Horizon.
Also let's not forget that Forza 4 isn't even doing as good as Forza 3 at retail. This isn't exactly going to set 360 only consumers on fire.
Until we know more, MS has one exclusive title for their core user base, Halo 4. Again a title NOT made by the series creator, Bungie.
No matter how you sum it up, this appears to be wishful thinking on the authors part, unless of course you purchase your console for multiplatform titles.

MS is seriously hurting for core games. Is this "honestly" the direction you want the gaming industry to go? If so, this place, and the industry, is doomed. Grabs your wallets and bend over at the waist fellows cause here it comes.
I see two titles on the exclusive front, obviously there's more if you count Kinect, which I doubt many will be counting, although I'll admit the more titles and stronger gameplay experiences for Kinect, the better and more appealing it will become in the long run.
Halo 4, and an otherwise other unknown exclusive is hardly enough to "bowl over" the competition.

this line up is really nothing to be happy about besides those 2 games its nothing else really worth writing about in the talk of exclusives. I'm sure they'll announce something at E3 but man Id sure like to see some new IPs and Hardcore exclusives come back to the Xbox platform

Really strong list, certainly blows away the competition based on what we know at this point - although there are still scarce details about the Wii U.
Kinect lineup is especially impressive, Crimson Dragon, Jutekki, The Journey, Diabolical Pitch.. Ryse? Awesome stuff.
that comment really shows how sad you are, the quality of a game depends on your own view when you play it, there are plenty more quality games on ps3 from sony, obviously you dont own one otherwise you wouldnt be spouting so much crap. am i looking forward to halo? kinda, im not the biggest fan but have bought 3 and reach, am i looking forward to the new forza? hell yes!! im hoping its a pgr style game because thats one exclusive i miss.
Heavy Rain, Uncharted, inFAMOUS, GT5, God of War, Twisted Metal, Little Big Planet, Modnation racers, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank.....differen't scores, differen't sales numbers (if your that interested in them) but ALL of them are quality games.
MS has what.....Gears, Halo, Alan Wake, Forza and Fable, although over the years Fable has went down in quality.

OXM TEASED there was a killer sequel coming and a spectacular reboot.
GDC is not over yet, since there was no sequel and no reboots.
Also MS said they were gonna reveal new IP's as well, still no new IP except for Wreckateer lol.
